*Traditional Chinese Language Program (Grades K-8)
A well-balanced language program with emphasis in the areas of listening, speaking, reading & writing.
*Chinese as a Second Language Program (Grades 1-8)
For non-native speakers without speaking Chinese background. This program places children into three different levels according to their proficiency in Chinese. We emphasize on developing listening and speaking skills. The classes are small, so limited spaces are available.
*High School Program (Grades 9-12)
The high school classes allow SMHS students to take foreign language credit from a range of proficiency levels, from the levels 1-4, as well as an AP level. Our past AP classes all have had 100% pass rates.
